Fall Musical "Urinetown" Plays to Full Houses

As usual, the Playmakers musical entertained the hundreds of students, parents, other relatives, and friends who attended one or all of the five performances, November 19th through the 22nd. The plot of this year's play, "Urinetown", revolves around the efforts of citizens of the town to gain better access to the local water supply, which is controlled by a large corporation.

The children of several alumni/ae had roles, or were part of the stage crew:

Grace Fortin, daughter of Jim Fortin '78

Drama Director Betsy Puelle called on three alumni/ae and former Playmakers to assist her in the production.
Catie Curry '06 was the Assistant Director
Florence Cooley '07 was the Lighting Designer and chief of costume making
Ben McNaboe '11 was Musical Director

Ms. Puelle and the Playmakers get a short break before auditions and rehearsals for the One Act Play competition in March.
