Playmakers Win State Championship
Performing at Rockland High School on March 26th, the YHS Playmakers won the Class B Drama Championship for the fourth time since 2002. They had qualified for the State Championship by winning the regional competition at Westbrook High School two weeks earlier.
In addition to the overall championship, the group earned awards for Ensemble, Overall Technical Excellence, and Set Design. Seniors Sam Coleman, Jack Gilman, Dustin Pazar, and Natalie Sanford won individual acting awards.
The Playmakers will represent Maine at the New England Drama Festival in Andover, MA from April 16th-18th.
