Jennifer Bailow Hill ’92 graced the cover of the February issue of MWM Maine Woman Magazine. The issue featured women who have suffered and survived heart attacks. Despite being “…a fit, busy 43-year-old wife and mother …. who skied, ran, cycled, kayaked, ate a diet rich in vegetables and low in processed foods and sugar…”, Jennifer suffered the tell tale signs in July 2016. Very scaring. Husband Chris ’92 took her to Maine Medical Center, where tests showed she had had “a pretty significant heart attack.” After a week in the hospital, Jennifer commenced a cardiac rehab program and shortly returned to work at her human resources job at L.L. Bean. Since then she has been an active supporter of the American Heart Association.
In January, Brit Vitalius ’91 received an award for Leadership in the Public Sector from the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce for his work to defeat a rent control referendum in Portland last year.
